Before joining FP, Karl was an attorney in the Denver and Boston offices of a national labor and employment defense firm, where he represented employers in OSHA, MSHA, and DOT investigations and litigation. His prior in-house counsel role at a leading environmental services company provides him with a valuable perspective on balancing regulatory compliance with day-to-day business demands, enabling him to anticipate client needs and deliver pragmatic, strategic guidance.

Before going to law school, Karl gained invaluable experience in crisis management and response as a firefighter, training officer, and incident commander.
