
Overview
Justin Vanderveer is an associate in the firm’s Phoenix office defending employers in various labor and employment disputes. Justin is licensed in both Arizona and Colorado, and his experience includes litigation for breach of contract, issues with corporate formation, and corporate theft. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2024.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Justin was an associate at a boutique insurance coverage and litigation firm where he focused on commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and white-collar criminal defense matters.
Justin attended the University of Denver for law school where he was a member of the fifth-ranked trial team in the nation, placing top 10 in the National Trial Competition, made the “Sweet-16” of the All Star Challenge, and won additional regional competitions in the process. Additionally, he co-founded the Air and Space Law Society, was President of the Moot Court Board, Treasurer for the Student Trial Lawyers Association, and was an extern in-house for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Prior to law school, Justin interned for S&P Global’s government affairs division in Washington, D.C.
