Overview
Josh is an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office and advises employers on employee benefits and executive compensation, with an emphasis on the tax and compliance aspects of employer-sponsored benefit plans. Josh also assists employers with day-to-day compliance matters involving ERISA health and welfare plans and qualified retirement plans, helps prepare plan document amendments, and supports responses to IRS penalty assessments and related regulatory inquiries. Additionally, he defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination brought under various federal and state laws.
Josh graduated with honors from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he was a Managing Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal. While in law school, he worked extensively for an international aerospace company and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mina Nami Khorrami, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Before practicing law, Josh worked in retail pharmacy, providing patient care and operational support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
