Emily E. Town
Of Counsel
Overview
Emily Town advises and represents employers in various workplace law matters, including litigation, contract and policy drafting, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and privacy. Emily gained substantial insight into all facets of employment litigation by working with a Pittsburgh-area employee-side labor and employment law firm and then spending three years as law clerk to United States District Court Judge Arthur J. Schwab. These experiences on the employee-side of employment cases and with the court give her a wealth of insight into the factors that determine outcomes, resolve cases, and persuade juries.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Emily worked in the Pittsburgh office of a national law firm where she represented employers in all phases of litigation, including appeals.
