Emily Chen
Counsel
Overview
Emily Chen defends employers and businesses in a wide range of labor and employment disputes, focusing on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters under Title VII, OSHA, FEHA, and the FLSA. With extensive experience in single-plaintiff litigation, pre-litigation negotiations, and wage and hour damage assessments, Emily helps clients — from small businesses to large corporations — navigate every phase of the dispute process, from demand letters and fact investigations through mediation and pre-trial motions.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Emily served as an associate attorney at a regional law firm, representing employers in insurance and employment defense matters. In that role, she managed litigation from inception through resolution, drafted pleadings, argued motions, and negotiated settlements.
