Overview
Emeline Brown Hébert is an associate in the firm’s Nashville office who represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. She defends employers in employment litigation in state and federal courts and in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other administrative agencies. Emeline advises clients on complex workplace issues arising under federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, THRA, and the FMLA. She is also a member of the firm’s Workplace Investigations Practice Group, conducting workplace investigations with a thorough, discreet approach that minimizes disruption and protects workplace integrity.
Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Emeline practiced workers’ compensation defense in Colorado Springs and insurance litigation at a Nashville-based firm. She is a two-time graduate of the University of Tennessee and served as editor-in-chief of the Tennessee Journal of Race, Gender & Social Justice during law school. As an undergraduate, she double majored in human resource management and supply chain management and studied and interned in London as part of the Haslam College of Business’ honors program.
