Elyse Carpenter

Elyse Carpenter defends employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. She has drafted complex litigation motions, mediation briefs, and dispositive motions, and successfully obtained injunctive relief in workplace violence proceedings. 

Her work spans both litigation and counseling, drawing on direct experience drafting legal memoranda on labor and employment issues and conducting research on compliance. Elyse has evaluated legal issues and developed strategic arguments to reach favorable case outcomes, managed witness interviews, and argued the legal basis for emergency injunctive relief in court.
