Deniz also frequently counsels employers, serving as a point of contact for management and HR on workplace-related decisions and best practices for hiring, firing, discipline, and accommodations. She prepares employment policies, contracts and handbooks, and also counsels employers on such policies, workplace investigations, and other related employment issues. Additionally, Deniz regularly conducts training sessions for her clients, ranging from training for HR and management to company-wide trainings for all employees, on emerging workplace issues such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; leaves and accommodations; medical marijuana; best practices for conducting workplace investigations; best practices for performance management, progressive discipline, and termination; the ADA/FMLA intersect; and best practices for engaging in the interactive process.

Before going into private practice, Deniz served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and held a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Raymond A. Batten, Presiding Chancery Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court’s Atlantic and Cape May Vicinages.
