David Shannon is an associate in the firm’s Nashville office where he focuses on litigating a wide range of labor and employment matters. David is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the U.S. private sector (CIPP/US). David supports large and small employers in all types of employment-related actions, including breach of contract, wage and hour laws, whistleblower, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, defamation, Private Attorneys’ General Act (PAGA), class actions, and other employment law-related matters.

David counsels clients through compliance with the growing number of consumer privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). David prepares notices, privacy policies, and website terms of use. David defends clients in class action and other litigation matters related to privacy, including the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).
