David Goodman

David Goodman defends employers and corporate clients in high-stakes wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative claims, and single-plaintiff disputes involving wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and whistleblower allegations. He has more than a decade of experience guiding businesses through the full spectrum of employment law matters, ranging from pre-litigation investigations and mediations to binding arbitrations and trial.

Drawing on a background that includes both law firm and in-house counsel roles, David handles every stage of employment litigation, including class and representative actions, dispositive motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. He has defended more than 100 corporate clients in employment matters, managed class action wage and hour lawsuits, and led the defense of claims brought under the California Labor Code, FEHA, and Title VII. Before joining Fisher Phillips, David served as a labor and employment associate at a regional law firm, supporting a team of partners in large-scale employment litigation.
