Overview
Carlee Taber is an associate in the firm’s Columbia office and defends employers in various workplace cases, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour violations. Carlee’s experience includes claims brought in state and federal courts under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), and Section 1981. Additionally, she advises employers on risk assessment, policy drafting, and handbook development.
Carlee regularly presents to employers, managers, and HR professionals on emerging employment law developments and authors articles addressing current issues, keeping clients ahead of legal trends and regulatory changes.
Before joining Fisher Phillips, Carlee was an associate at a full-service regional law firm where she focused on all aspects of employment litigation.
During law school, Carlee was a member and associate communications editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business.
