Overview

Angelica is a partner in the firm's Denver office. Her practice covers virtually all aspects of employment-based immigration into the United States. She has experience in obtaining nonimmigrant work visas and employment-based immigrant visas for management, professionals, and specialized skills employees. With respect to employment-based nonimmigrant work visas, she advises and represents companies in the preparation of a variety of petitions. With respect to employment-based immigrant petitions, she advises and represents clients in all employment preference categories as well as adjustment of status. She also advises companies on I-9 employment eligibility verification best practices and assists clients through I-9 compliance issues. She regularly provides management training on immigration-related subjects.

Angelica has experience guiding foreign clients through consular processing of both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. In addition, she represents clients in appeals to the Administrative Appeal Office (AAO). She also has a wide range of experience with family-based immigrant petitions and naturalization and citizenship applications.

Angelica represents clients in several industries including education, hospitality, agriculture, financial services, professional services, and retail.

Angelica has been recognized by Chambers USA, Immigration (2021 – 2024) and recommended as a leading practitioner for Immigration Law by The Legal 500 United States (2021, 2023).
