Overview
A.J. Peters has more than two decades of experience representing employers in labor and employment law matters. A.J. has significant experience representing employers in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and representative lawsuits, as well as before various state and federal administrative agencies. He has litigated employment disputes involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation under state and federal law, breaches of contract, wage-and-hour claims, leaves and accommodations, and trade secret misappropriation. A.J. represents a broad range of clients, from small businesses to national companies, and across a variety of industries.
A.J. has additionally handled an array of traditional labor law issues involving collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and representation campaigns and elections. He has litigated labor issues in federal district and appeals courts, including the Northern District of California, the Fifth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals, and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
