With workplace violence on the rise, the attorneys at Fisher Phillips cordially invite business owners, in-house counsel, human resource professionals, and safety professionals to attend a proactive presentation about best practices for preventing workplace violence, including active shooter training conducted by Sargent Jeffery Richard of the City of Houston Police Department and self-defense training by Garett Lee.
Recent injuries and losses of life have made it imperative that employers commit to strategies that minimize workplace violence and related legal risks. This informative and interactive seminar will provide specific steps that may reduce the risk of workplace violence. Fisher Phillips attorneys will drill down into the legal implications of workplace violence. You will also obtain invaluable active shooter training that features “The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events” (CRASE) course, designed and built on the “Avoid, Deny, Defend” (ADD) strategy. Sargent Richard will provide real-life case scenarios on what to do if your organization is faced with an active shooter. Finally, Garett Lee, will present real-world scenarios and demonstrations that will impart practical knowledge on how individuals may defend themselves if confronted by an attacker.
A complimentary breakfast will be provided with the program. Seating will be limited so reserve your spot soon. We hope to see you there.
