In an interview with Bloomberg Law, Ed Foulke discusses some of the challenges facing the Biden administration in its goal of doubling OSHA’s inspection force to roughly 1,500 by 2024. Ed explains that finding experienced candidates might be difficult, but the agency “could find potential inspectors at universities in occupational safety and health degree programs.” He also suggests that OSHA could focus on “recruiting people with practical experience and professional certifications.”
