Workplace Safety Issues That Keep Contractors Up at Night

Event

5.23.24
11:30 AM — 12:30 PM PDT

Contractors are faced with a multitude of labor and employment issues. The Fisher Phillips Construction Team is here to help construction employers navigate the unique challenges you’re facing no matter where you’re located.

Join us for the third of a seven-part webinar series for the construction industry as we provide an overview of the workplace safety issues that keep contractors up at night, including a deep dive into:

  • OSHA’s Enforcement of its New Walk Around Rule
We will discuss the Rule and offer practical suggestions for employers to manage inspections with the Walk Around Rule in effect.

  • Multi-Employer Worksites
Multi-employer worksites will always present challenges for construction employers.  Employers want to document their safety oversight efforts but do not want to direct work. We will discuss these challenges and recommendations for managing the site while knowing the risks involved. This will include a discussion of the importance of regular safety walkarounds, and documentation of inspections.

We will highlight those issues that are most pertinent to contractors and, where appropriate, offer practical solutions to those issues.

If you have any questions, please contact Monica Kharmatsky.
