Please join Fisher Phillips’ Higher Education Practice Group on October 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm Eastern Time, as we provide an update on significant regulatory and case law developments that have occurred over the last several months regarding Title IX and, in particular, institutional obligations with respect to student-on-student sex assault.
This 60-minute webinar will discuss:
- Recently issued Department of Education Office of Civil Rights Title IX compliance reviews;
- A summary of litigation developments in cases involving both alleged victims of sex assault and students challenging discipline meted out by their college or university for sexual misconduct;
- Regulatory changes and other developing best practices with respect to Title IX;
- Practical steps institutions can take to deal with the evolving challenges in this area.
The webinar will be given by Scott Schneider. Scott is a partner in the New Orleans and Houston offices of Fisher Phillips and instructor at Tulane Law School. Scott formerly served as Associate General Counsel at Tulane University and is the head of the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group which provides counsel and litigation support on a host of education issues for colleges and universities.
