Two San Francisco Fisher Phillips Attorneys Promoted to Partner

SAN FRANCISCO (Jan. 03, 2017) – Fisher Phillips announces Of Counsel Wendy McGuire Coats and Associate Collin D. Cook have been promoted to partner, effective January 1. Cook is currently in the firm’s Irvine office and will relocate to San Francisco in January.

Coats leads the firm’s California Appellate Practice. She represents clients in all aspects of appellate litigation in state and federal appellate courts and prepares trial counsel for appellate consequences before, during and after trial. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Pepperdine University School of Law (2005), where she was Editor in Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review, and her B.S Ed., magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri – Columbia (1996).
Cook represents and counsels employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour litigation, unfair competition, workplace safety and construction labor law. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School (2007) and his B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles (2004).
