COLUMBUS (December 6, 2017) – Fisher Phillips announced today that two attorneys from its Columbus office have been listed in the 2018 Ohio Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Those on the list are selected based upon third-party research, as well as peer nominations and evaluations.
Partner Robert Robenalt and Of Counsel Samuel Lillard were recognized for their work in labor and employment law. In addition, partner Kevin Hess and associate Mathew Parker were listed as Rising Stars.
About the Attorneys
Robenalt represents employers in a variety of labor and employment issues, including workers’ compensation, employment litigation and traditional labor matters. He has argued in defense of employment actions before the Fourth and Sixth Federal Courts, has served as an adjunct professor at Capital University and has been listed in the Ohio Super Lawyers since 2013.
Lillard’s practice focuses on general employment litigation, arbitration and mediation. He represents employers in all Ohio and federal courts, as well as a number of regulatory agencies, and advises both private- and public-sector employers on various employment and personnel matters. He has been included in Ohio Super Lawyers since 2009.
Hess focuses on workplace health and safety. He also represents and counsels employers on compliance with employment laws. Hess defends the full panoply of discrimination charges in state and federal courts, directs clients through agency audits, and counsels regularly on policy issues including termination and accommodation. He has been listed as a Rising Star since 2016.
Parker represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation, counseling and community presence. He counsels clients on day-to-day employment policies and practices, including contracts, discrimination, workplace health and safety, wage and hour claims, non-competes and wrongful termination. He has been listed as a Rising Star since 2016.
