Christopher Stief, chair of the firm's Employee Defection and Trade Secrets Practice Group and William Wright, co-chair of the firm's International Employment Practice Group, participated in a Transatlantic Employment Law Program presented by The Law Society in London, England on November 8, 2012. The cross-border program offered a comparative look at law in the United States and United Kingdom, addressing social media and issues surrounding non-compete and other post-employment restrictions on competitive activities.
William Wright joined a panel discussion entitled "Generation I-Employee: The Changing Landscape Of Social Media In The Workplace; The Potential Pitfalls And Opportunities For Business Development." Christopher Stief discussed "Retaining Employees and Protecting Competitive Assets Through Non-Compete Agreements – a UK and US Perspective."
