Tracking 2020’s Biggest Workplace Trends

2020 will undoubtedly be a busy year for employers who are tracking changes to workplace laws. SHRM offered their predictions for what might be the most important changes, including paid leave, appearance discrimination, pre-employment marijuana testing and predictable scheduling laws. When asked about the increase in predictable scheduling laws popping up across the country, Jeff Csercsevits explained that "predictable scheduling is really an undeniable trend across cities and states. And the patchwork of laws is creating a challenge for employers."
