In his article published by HR Dive, Rick Grimaldi, author of “FLEX: A Leader's Guide to Staying Nimble and Mastering Transformative Change in the American Workplace”, explores why employers should remain flexible to attract talent in a post-COVID world. Rick says that successful leaders will recognize that today’s workers see their place of work differently than in the past. By creating diverse workplaces and retraining employees to work with new technologies, employers will be in a better position to attract and retain top talent, he says. Rick also recommends looking at employees of all ages – including more seasoned members of the workforce – and leveraging gig economy workers as the labor shortage persist. Ultimately, organizations that want to get ahead of the disruption curve must use creative strategies and flex to attract and recruit talent. If they do so, the market will reward them.
