In an interview with The New York Times’ DealBook, Kristin Smith helps answer some common questions about the CDC’s latest mask guidance in a discussion about how it might impact the workplace. Kristin explains that if employers are going to implement the new CDC guidance and allow employees to remove their masks indoors then it does put the burden on the employer to verify that all employees not wearing masks have been vaccinated. To do this, Kristin suggests not taking employees at their word but rather requesting proof of vaccination.
