Join members of the Fisher Phillips Labor Relations Group for an immersive and highly interactive day of practical training. Intense-by-design, this “bootcamp” will inspire proactive confidence in attendees facing challenging questions concerning their strategies for maintaining positive employee relations.
With workplace activism on the rise and organizing activity and union work stoppages approaching historically high levels, now is the time to take a hard look at employee relations programs. Consider these NLRB statistics from FY 2022:
- 380 strikes involving more than 200,000 workers – up 43% from the year before
- 2,510 union representation petitions – up 53%
- 17,988 Unfair Labor Practice charges – up 19%
- 273,000 new union members – the biggest rise since 2017
Unions are also enjoying the highest public approval ratings (71%) in nearly sixty years. Inflationary pressures, labor scarcity, regulatory shifts and other post-pandemic challenges are combining with generational workplace trends to re-shape the modern labor relations arena. As a result, the pendulum is in the midst of a full swing that could fundamentally alter the way employers do business.
Attendees will come away prepared to succeed in the face of innovative organizing activities, along with strikes, boycotts, and other forms of concerted activity. They will leave with a greater understanding of lawful but effective strategies for countering the latest tactics.
