The Biden Administration’s First 100 Days: A Brand-New Employment Equation?
Event
5.04.21
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EST
It’s often said that a president’s first 100 days in office are the most critical in their administration, as that’s when they have the most political capital – and therefore can attempt to enact the most ambitious changes. The first 100 days of the Biden administration has revealed an extraordinarily ambitious plan to remake the nation’s workplace laws. This interactive webinar will review some of the most dramatic changes that have occurred since January 20, including passage of the American Rescue Plan and changes to joint employment, misclassification standards, labor law, immigration, and more. But the White House has laid out a blueprint for further change that would completely reshape the employment equation, and we’ll forecast what we expect to happen in the future. Join Ben Ebbink, the co-chair of our Government Relations Practice Group, and Emily Litzinger, a partner from our Louisville office, as they break down all of the changes to date and those to soon come.
