The 2020 State of OSHA Webinar: What’s New With Workplace Safety Enforcement?

This interactive, engaging and comprehensive webinar walks attendees through an OSHA inspection and offers an in-depth, practical examination of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (the “Act”) and how it, and the Secretary of Labor’s right to enforce the Act, may potentially affect his or her business and its bottom line. A focus of this webinar will be how OSHA is currently enforcing the Act and how the rules adopted by OSHA in the last 5 years have been enforced, if at all, as well as the current enforcement tools and tactics we are seeing implemented by the agency. At least the last 15 minutes of the webinar will be dedicated to live questions from attendees and each attendee will received copies of written policies they can implement immediately. Throughout the presentation, attendees will be provided practical, “real world” scenarios regarding an employer’s legal rights during an OSHA inspection, including references to many actual situations under which citations under the Act have been issued due to mistakes made during inspections.
