Tampa Partner Discusses How to Improve Remote Work for Women Employees in Law360

Lisa McGlynn was interviewed by Law360 for an article exploring ways to retain women employees as many companies enter a ‘new normal,’ which means updating remote work policies and, in some cases, calling employees back into the office.

According to Lisa, employers should keep an eye out for any disparate impacts their policies may have on certain workers.

"For example, taking a hard stance at this point against options like remote or flexible work could backfire,” she said. “You maybe didn't intend them to target a particular group, but the ultimate impact is going to be that it forces more women out of the workplace than men.”
