Susan Guerette Named to International Employment Lawyers’ Women Leaders List

Fisher Phillips, one of the country’s preeminent labor and employment law firms representing employers, is proud to announce that partner Susan Guerette has been named to International Employment Lawyers’ inaugural list of “Women Leaders.” Susan was one of only fifty women lawyers selected from around the globe as a leading practitioner in labor and employment law.
Susan was nominated and selected in the category of trade secrets after serving as Co-Chair of Fisher Phillips’ Employee Defection and Trade Secrets (EDTS) Practice Group from 2019 through March of 2022. During her time as Co-Chair, she led more than 75 attorneys in representing businesses in restrictive covenant and trade secrets matters in a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, construction, biotech, distribution, and retail.
Susan has a national practice focused on litigating trade secrets cases and other claims arising from the movement of employees between competitor companies, including covenants not to compete, non-solicitation, non-use, and non-disclosure agreements, fiduciary duty, and duty of loyalty. She has litigated more than 400 employee defection and recruitment matters in over 30 different states, as well as numerous arbitration actions before arbitration panels (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
