Strategies to Improve Workplace Vaccination Rates and Preparing for Various Mandates

Event

11.11.21
12:00 PM — 1:00 PM EDT

The Biden administration announced the implementation of a rule that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to either ensure their workers are vaccinated or require unvaccinated employees to produce a weekly negative test result before coming to work.  This rule takes the form of an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), which allows OSHA to enact regulations it can enforce immediately if a “grave danger” to worker safety is present. Covered employers who ignore the rule could face OSHA citations and penalties of up to $14,000 per violation. However, there are still many questions lingering about the logistics and legalities of the rule.

In this session, we’ll be joined by Patrick Dennison from Fisher Phillips who will break down the requirements, legally and practically, and provide tips to employers who have a renewed interest in increasing the workforce vaccination rate.
