SHRM Interviews Workplace Safety Co-Chair about the Impact the Biden Administration Could Have on OSHA

In an interview with SHRM, Todd Logsdon discussed what employers should expect from the Biden Administration as it relates to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Todd explains that the new administration is likely to hire more OSHA inspectors, and he predicts the number of inspectors to increase by about 200 to 250. He adds that “[o]nce trained – maybe 18 months later – we would expect to see more inspections.”
