Roger Quillen was quoted in Law360 on March 10, 2015. The article “Seven Habits Of Highly Effective Law Firm Leaders” examined seven habits that make highly effective law firm leaders.
“To be a law firm leader is to understand that your role is being the chief vision officer for the firm,” said Roger. “My job, to start with, is to plan out where we hope our firm will be moving over the next few years. There’s always a plan for being better and meeting the challenges we can see and don’t yet see.”
It's important to be trusted by your partners, Roger said.
“I’m of the opinion that a law firm is a sophisticated entity and it’s a business that deserves full time leadership,” Roger said. “You do a disservice to the client demands and the demands of the business if you’re not fully focused on the job of running, of leading and of planning forward for the business.”
