This 90-minute webinar will discuss:
- A summary of Title IX litigation developments, including cases involving both alleged victims of sex assault and students challenging discipline meted out by their college or university for sexual misconduct;
- Recently issued Department of Education Office of Civil Rights Title IX compliance reviews;
- Practical steps institutions can take to deal with the evolving challenges in this area.
The webinar will be given by Scott Schneider. Scott is a partner in the New Orleans and Houston offices of Fisher Phillips and instructor at Tulane Law School. Scott formerly served as Associate General Counsel at Tulane University and is the head of the firm’s Higher Education Practice Group which provides counsel and litigation support on a host of education issues for colleges and universities.
