In the Daily Journal article “Bill to maintain more harassment records passes Legislature,” San Diego attorney Megan Walker discusses the potential impact of California Assembly Bill 1867 on employers.
Specifically, Megan tells the Daily Journal that “[a]ny bill regarding record keeping is going to place an administrative burden on an employer, and the most complicated piece of that is keeping the requirements safe,” noting as well that AB 1867 is interesting in that “it applies a requirement to at least two different people, the complainant as well as the alleged harasser or harassers.”
