The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) expects employers to adhere to consensus standards even in the face of disruption because of a hurricane or other severe weather. In order to be in compliance of these standards after a hurricane, it is important that employers remain aware of OSHA's expectations and utilize the various available compliance assistance resources in order to maintain a safe workplace.
