Sacramento Attorney Reviews Labor Law Landscape in 2018

In the Daily Journal article titled “2018 in labor law is a tale of two court systems,” Sacramento Of Counsel Benjamin M. Ebbink discusses some of the most important employment law decisions from California and federal courts in 2018. Ben says there is a dichotomy between the federal court system and California, noting that California was very employee-friendly in 2018.

Ben explains that the divergence between the federal system and California presents challenges for employers in the state. He encourages employers in the state to take anything positive from the federal level with a grain of salt because the courts and legislature in California are going in the opposite direction.
