In an interview with The Business of Fashion, Phillip Bauknight shared his knowledge of the current legal implications of using cryptocurrency to pay employees, something Alo Yoga plans to do soon. He explains that we are in a time where there are many grey areas regarding cryptocurrency legislation. Phillip says that cryptocurrency "doesn’t neatly fit into the boxes of existing statutes and regulations" and that employers will have to do their homework to find a way to mitigate legal and taxation risks to themselves and their workforce.
