Philadelphia Partner Shares Insight into the Major Employment Law Trends of 2021

In an interview with HR Dive, Rick Grimaldi weighs in on the major news trends in employment law, including renewed organized labor efforts, the Great Resignation, and vaccine compliance headaches.

"I guess you could say they are all a consequence of the pandemic," he said. "But it's a confluence of different events that are creating real challenges for employers."

Additionally, Rick said that while the pandemic is the single-greatest unknown for 2022, Biden’s infrastructure bill is another major angle.

"Depending on how the negotiations go and what that looks like that's going to be really determinative on whether we see a continuation of what we're doing now, which is this enhanced employee power."
