Kathleen Caminiti, Co-Chair of the Pay Equity practice group, was recently quoted in the Asbury Park Press article “NJ Equal Pay Act: 5 Things employers — and Employees — Have To Know.” The article details five essential things employees and employers should know about the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act recently signed in New Jersey. This act makes it illegal for women and minorities to be compensated less than they would pay others for similar work.
"It's a big deal," said Kathleen. "New Jersey, when this law becomes effective this summer, will have the most progressive equal pay legislation in the country."
