Ed Foulke was quoted in Bloomberg BNA on July 20, 2015. The article “OSHA Releases New Inspection Directive on Hazcom” discussed a compliance directive posted online July 20 by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which stated that workplace inspectors should consider using hazard communication information to cite an employer under the general duty clause when workers could be exposed to hazardous chemicals without permissible exposure limits.

But technological and economic feasibility is a complex determination that goes beyond the training of an OSHA inspector, said Ed.
