Steve Bernstein was quoted in Corporate Counsel on December 15, 2014. The article “NLRB 'Purple' Ruling May Leave Employers Feeling Blue” examined the NLRB’s recent decision in the Purple Communications case, which upends prior NLRB thinking on workers use of employer email, and may open the door for numerous legal complications.
Steve Bernstein was quoted on how this decision will affect in-house counsel moving forward.

Now that employees are have much more leeway to use employer communications systems, employers who are worried about liability may want to make sure that their policies don’t put the wrong kinds of limitations on employees.
