InsideCounsel featured Tampa Partner Steve Bernstein in the Labor and Employment digest section in the February 2014 edition.
Each month, InsideCounsel showcases opinions and thoughts of those practicing in the labor and employment field for a fuller view of the landscape.
Steve wrote, for the first time in a decade, the National Labor Relations Board is at full strength. A full complement of five confirmed board members and a new general counsel are expected to advance the agency’s pro-labor agenda.
He also explained that employers can expect the board to continue scrutinizing the procedures of union and non-union employers alike. Counsel are therefore encouraged to review policies regulating social media, confidentiality, premises access and at-will status for compliance with the latest requirements.
