In light of a recent bill passed by Congress in October (Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers) SHRM recently published a collection of news articles on laws focused on breastfeeding employees. One of those articles includes an interview with Melissa Camire, New York partner, who says lactation accommodations vary from state to state. "Like any laws that develop through a patchwork of state or local laws, each particular law will have its own peculiarities.”
