10.16.13
This Webinar was originally presented in October 2013.
On August 27th the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) posted the Final Rule updating both the Veteran and Disability regulations in what is being called one of the most significant compliance changes in the history of Affirmative Action. On September 20 attorneys Cheryl Behymer and Celia Joseph teamed with OutSolve to present a unique webinar where attendees heard from both legal and consulting presenters regarding the definition and impact of the new regulations. The program helped provide contractors with a comprehensive and practical action plan.
On Tuesday, September 24, 2013 the OFCCP posted in the Federal Register the Final Rules for federal contractors. OFCCP has made game-changing revisions to both VEVRAA (Federal contractor obligations regarding veterans) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act (Federal contractor obligations regarding individuals with disabilities). Now, with the looming 180-day implementation date of March 24, 2014, news and opinions are in high-gear regarding this significant change. Contractors are anxious to hear from the experienced consultants and attorneys regarding how to adapt to these changes. This webinar provides contractors and other interested stakeholders with an overview of the new regulations, the new requirements and a practical action plan.
