New Orleans (Dec. 20, 2018) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, is pleased to announce that New Orleans partner Timothy Scott has been appointed to serve as a delegate for the 41st Judicial District to the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Appointed by President Barry H. Grodsky, he will serve in this role June 2019 through June 2021.
In this capacity, Scott will assist in setting and voting on the Louisiana State Bar’s policy.
At Fisher Phillips, Scott focuses his practice on assisting clients in employment litigation, particularly the defense of harassment and discrimination claims. He has successfully handled a number of jury trials as well as cases before the courts of appeals. Scott also represents employers in union election cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and advises employers on a day-to-day basis on issues relating to compliance with the various state and federal laws applicable to employers.
