Lauren Sobaski, an attorney in our Kansas City office, will be presenting on FMLA Leave Essentials at the National Business Institute’s two-day Kansas Employment Law seminar, taking place June 17th-18th in Overland Park, Kansas. Other topics to be covered include workplace investigations; discrimination, harassment and retaliation issues; and FLSA and state wage and hour laws, among others. The two-day conference will provide attendees a great opportunity to get educational credits, including 14 hours of CLE credit in Kansas (including 1 hour of ethics), 14 hours of CPE credit (including 1 hour of regulatory ethics), and 12 hours of both HRCI and SHRM credits.
