Join Fisher Phillips for an employment law update covering the following topics:

Managing the Divisive 2024 Election Season
The 2024 election year has already become turbulent, and your workplace is unlikely immune from the challenges that are facing employers. As political passions run high, for most employers it will be more a question of when, rather than if, workplace disruptions will occur. Learn how to effectively manage and for practical tips on what you can do to effectively address these unique challenges.

Handbooks are No Longer as Easy as You Think
In today's dynamic workplace environment, understanding the intricacies of your organization's employee handbook is crucial for both employers and employees alike. Receiving practical guidance on how to effectively review and interpret their employee handbooks helps employers navigate the complexities with confidence and clarity. From compliance with state and federal regulations to fostering a positive workplace culture, attendees will gain valuable insights into optimizing their organization's policies and practices.

Pregnancy Laws and EEOC Initiatives
A new federal law recently took effect that will significantly increase the burden on employers to accommodate pregnant employees. Employers should be proactive in thinking about how they will comply with the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). This program will delve into the legal framework surrounding pregnancy accommodation, as well as examine recent EEOC initiatives, enforcement actions and guidance on compliance.

The firm is submitting this program for HRCI and SHRM credits.

Seats are limited, registration is required to attend.
