In an interview with El Economista, Germán de la Garza de Vecchi shares his insights on a judge’s decision effectively eliminating the cap on profits. He explains how the decision "opens the door for that fraction that was added at the time to Article 127 of the Federal Labor Law, and that would allow employers to have some control over the participation of workers in profits (PTU), which would be practically eliminated. He adds that “…employers will return to the payment of 10% of the profit, which risks the profitability of the companies."
