Media Outlets Cover FP’s Permanent Injunction and Declaratory Relief Against the State of Oregon to Enforce Measure 119

Several media outlets covered a significant Fisher Phillips victory in which the team of lawyers obtained a permanent injunction and declaratory relief against the State of Oregon to enforce Ballot Measure 119.  It was a case of first impression on the merits of National Labor Relations Act preemption and Constitutional First Amendment speech protections related to labor peace agreement requirements.  And this decision is poised to have far-reaching impacts, as many states are considering imposing similar requirements not only on cannabis licensees, but also in other sectors.

The Fisher Phillips’ team of attorneys included Todd Lyon, Stephen Scott, Alexander Wheatley, and Janelle Debes.
