Scott Schneider was quoted on University Business on February 11, 2015. The article “Living With Unions in Higher Education” offered tips from colleges and universities on managing unionizing efforts on campus.

Scott was quoted on his take of employees at institutions that are beginning to organize, gaining assistance from groups unfamiliar with higher ed.

“To bring in an outsider— there is a lot of concern, rightfully, [over whether] these folks truly understand how a university operates,” said Scott.

The cost of unionizing can build quickly for an institution when hiring new administrators to handle new organizational structures, added Scott.
