Litigator and Former In-House Counsel Jeffrey Winchester Joins Seattle Office of Fisher Phillips

SEATTLE (June 18, 2018) – Fisher Phillips is pleased to announce the addition of Jeffrey Winchester as Of Counsel in Seattle. Since its opening in 2015, the office has grown rapidly to 14 attorneys. Jeffrey previously worked in the Las Vegas office of Fisher Phillips from 2006-2010, and most recently, he served as in-house employment counsel for Caesars Entertainment Corporation. 

With more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of labor and employment law, Jeffrey oversees myriad of litigation and compliance issues, including, but not limited to, the impact of complex corporate reorganizations and transactions on employment and labor law issues; wage-and-hour compliance and class/collective action litigation; FMLA and ADA compliance and litigation; immigration compliance; international employment law issues; workplace safety, traditional labor issues and arbitrations; and non-compete and employment agreements. Jeffrey has experience leading workplace diversity and positive workplace culture change initiatives. He is especially focused on the employment law challenges that face employers in the gaming and hospitality industries.

Jeffrey received his J.D. from Cornell Law School, his M.Ed. from Temple University, Tokyo, Japan Campus, and his B.A. from the University of Arizona. Following law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable David M. Ebel of the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeffrey was a university professor in Tokyo, and he is proficient in Japanese.
